On April 29th, The Equine Connection hosted its second open house. It was another very enjoyable experience. Mother Nature blessed us with dry weather, while the fire and the home baked food kept us warm. The horses provided the guests with an experience of equine-assisted learning via three exercises that everyone participated in. We discussed the various applications of the exercises to topics such as communication, boundaries and leadership. I find that doing the exercises is the best way to understand the increase in self-awareness that results from equine-assisted learning. Thank you to all the people that attended the open house. The next open house will be on Thursday, July 21 st at 4pm.
