Parenting Group

Using the framework of the basic human need for emotional attachment, and your child's own developmental history, this group will discuss common parenting dilemmas, such as communication with your teenager, and managing children's expression of feelings. Co-facilitated with Kathleen Lainsbury.

We are collecting Nature’s Fare receipts as a fundraiser for the 'Healing Through Horses' program run for the Vernon Women's Transition House. Nature's Fare gives the program 3% of the total on the receipts, minus taxes.

Horse Lover’s Haven

Horse Lover’s Haven is the property where both the equine-assisted therapy, and the traditional counselling takes place. The propertey includes an outdoor arena, an outdoor round pen, a tack room, and three large paddocks. Currently there are five horses living at Horse Lover’s Haven.

The counselling office and waiting room are both spacious, and offer a relaxing, private setting to delve into your inner world, and address the issues that bring you to counselling.
