Parenting Group

Using the framework of the basic human need for emotional attachment, and your child's own developmental history, this group will discuss common parenting dilemmas, such as communication with your teenager, and managing children's expression of feelings. Co-facilitated with Kathleen Lainsbury.

We are collecting Nature’s Fare receipts as a fundraiser for the 'Healing Through Horses' program run for the Vernon Women's Transition House. Nature's Fare gives the program 3% of the total on the receipts, minus taxes.

The various types of counselling offered by Wendy Elrick Counselling Services are suitable for all ages. Children struggling with anxiety, and other symptoms caused by overwhelming life events benefit from counselling. Parents wishing to gain education about how to support their children benefit too. Adults sruggling with life transitions, and the impact of trauma can be supported by our services. Also, groups are offered for both children, and adults.
